Tufts University Cross-Cultural Leadership Program (TUCCLP)

In 1998, Tufts University partnered with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong and Peking University to create the Tufts Institute for Leadership and International Perspective (now TUCCLP) to prepare students to be these influential global leaders. Today, TUCCLP is the world’s leading undergraduate program dedicated to examining China through intellectual inquiry, cross-cultural exchange and experiential learning.
Every year, approximately fourteen to twenty students are chosen to participate from the four host universities. The participants are selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership skills, academic excellence, outstanding communication skills and a dedicated interest in Asia.
