Part of the BUILD Program project with the people of Santa Anita la Unión

This news story was released on Quetzaltenango's Channel 3 News on June 11, 2009. Channel 3 filmed decided to film a story about the history, construction, and inauguration of the Rodrigo Asturias Computer Center, one of the several simultaneous projects undertaken as part of BUILD's Community Development Plan.

This new comuter center is run as a youth micro-business by the teenagers of the community of Santa Anita. BUILD conducted a scouting and training process that left seven youth in charge of the maintenance, classes, and finances of the computer center, which after one year is projected to be self-sustainable.
