Acting Together – Join the Conversation

On October 23rd, Acting Together held the event "Join the Conversation" in the Granoff Music Building. "Join the Conversation" featured performances by groups Libana and Medicine Wheel, featuring Tufts Drama Professor Barbara Wallace Grossman as MC. The goal of the film screen, discussion and performances was to explore how performance arts can help community peace building efforts. 

Acting Together documents the efforts of courageous and creative men and women from zones of violent conflict to engage communities in rituals and theatrical works that speak truth to power. This vital work supports communities to mourn losses and build bridges across differences. Today, reaching out across the nation and the world, the project is placing the tools for peace building performance into the hands of community groups in regions of violence and oppression.
