The Tufts Middle East Research Group presents a panel exploring the current state of US-Iran relations. Topics discussed will include the Solemaini killing, Trump's withdrawal from Obama's 2015 nuclear deal and the human costs and consequences of US sanctions.

Panelists include:

Ali Kadivar, an Assistant Professor of Sociology and International Studies at Boston College 

Gary Samore, Professor of the Practice in Politics and Senior Executive Director of the Crown Center for Middle East Studies at Brandeis University 

Pouya Alimagham, a historian of the modern Middle East at MIT
